Where do you study?
For study I have to travel to another town because we don’t have a higher school and college in our village only a boy’s higher school and girl’s primary school. We travel on van to reach the college and it takes about 40-50 minutes to be there.
What sports and games do you play in your community?
Among other things the village lacks recreation facilities for children. There is no playing ground in the village so children usually play cricket, football, bantay (marbles) and phitto garm (a game played between two teams with a tennis ball and clay stones) in the streets and fields. The girl-children play Panj-Geet (a game like jack stones), Cheenjo (similar to hop-scotch) and other games in the courtyard of any big house in the neighbourhood. Bull Race and Kabbadi are the traditional games of the area however these have been replaced with the modern trends of cricket and football.
