Millions join global day of action calling for a #ceasefireNOW in Gaza

Today we stand in solidarity with over 800 organisations and millions of people worldwide in calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

With the United Nations voting in overwhelming support of an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, the Australian Government and other world leaders must work towards a de-escalation of violence now.

Violence against children and civilians is completely unjustifiable. Anyone held captive must be safely released.

Humanitarian assistance must be increased. The safe passage and permanent entry of adequate humanitarian assistance into Gaza must be allowed to ensure that all civilians in Gaza can access food, fuel, water and life-saving medical supplies.

A path to peace and justice for all, that includes equal rights and a fair future for both Palestinian and Israeli people, is the only way forward.
