About Plan

Plan International Australia is part of a global development agency that works to promote child rights and reduce poverty. Our global network employs 8000 staff and 60,000 volunteers in over 60 countries. Our new Graduate Intern Program engages graduates in the experience of working in the international development sector, within an innovative, creative and a dynamic organisation.

The Intern Experience

Plan's Graduate Intern Program allows graduates to experience firsthand what it's like to work in international development and helps build their capacity to contribute to the sector at a professional level. The program provides opportunities for interns to take part in project design, implementation and evaluation activities. It encompasses a professional training element to provide interns with a strong foundation for professional work in the sector. Knowledge-sharing is an important aspect of the program, where interns collaborate on a group project and participate in regular feedback sessions.
