Snapshot Report: Girls’ Views of a Year of Disrupted Education

SE Asia & Pacific Regional Survey, April 2021

In early 2021, we surveyed 444 girls and young women (aged 15-24) across 12 countries in the Asia Pacific region. This report provides a unique snapshot that is indicative of their experiences of a year of disrupted education. Their voice and views, alongside regional trends, are presented in this data report that complements the research and findings from Plan International Australia’s report Smart, Successful, Strong.

It also presents important recommendations from girls to improve remote learning and to get girls back to school.
