Anna Saxby’s role is to lead the Gender, Urban Safety and Resilience portfolio for Plan International Australia. Anna manages projects across Asia, Pacific and Africa and supports Plan's Country Offices with technical advice to develop integrated, systems-based and gender transformative urban programs for children and young people. She is a member of Plan International’s Urban Hub Steering Committee, which aims to improve knowledge and practice related to program and influencing in urban settings.
Anna has a Master’s Degree in International Urban and Environmental Management and graduate qualifications in Urban Planning and International Development. Anna has been working in the International Development sector for 15 years in roles focussed on urban interventions, governance, gender and strategic partnerships, with a range of NGO, government, private and UN agencies. She joined Plan International Australia in 2019.
