Join us on October 11, 2024 for our Giving Day celebration! International Day of the Girl is a special day when we rally our supporters to focus on the power and potential of girls. It is a day of empowerment where we collectively strive to make a lasting impact by amplifying the potential of girls across the globe.
Globally, we’ve made enormous leaps in bridging gender inequalities. Together with our supporters, we’ve provided life-saving emergency aid for girls and their families, fought against early and coerced child marriage, enabled access to education in regions struck by conflict, and spurred on young women’s entrepreneurial spirit. We are proud of the progress we’ve all made and we’re determined to accomplish more. We’re only just getting started!
But the fight is far from over. Ongoing global conflicts and crises threaten to set us back. Yet, even in the face of adversity, we stand undeterred. We will never give up.
That’s why once a year, we call on all Australians to step up and take action.
