This is an opportunity for a highly competent and experienced Senior Program Manager specializing in Girls and Women’s Empowerment (GWE) to lead in the management and growth of Plan International Australia’s (P.I.A.) program portfolio for GWE. Working within the International Programs team, you will work in partnership with PIA’s partner offices to secure funding and support program implementation.


Key accountabilities: 

  • Lead Girls’ and Women’s Empowerment program funding and grant acquisition
  • Lead Girls’ and Women’s Empowerment Program Portfolio
  • Manage portfolio human resources
  • Maintain and Strengthen Stakeholder Management

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 year experience at a senior level in development contexts, with specific international experience in the  girls’ and women’s empowerment sector
  • Proven ability in grant proposal writing, with a track-record of grant acquisition success, and experience with a range of donors, including DFAT
  • Post Graduate qualification in gender and development (or equivalent)
