Work With Us

Find the latest job opportunities, volunteer with us or join our consultant’s register.

We’re always on the hunt for passionate, enthusiastic people with a desire to make change.

We strive for a just world for all children, and equality for girls. We believe a better world is possible. An equal world; a world where all children can live happy and healthy lives, and where girls have equal opportunities.

Not everyone has a day-job that gives them a chance to help break the poverty cycle.

When you join us, you’ll put your expertise into practice. We’ll help you develop your skills, and build a rewarding career in the development sector. And if you ever decide to leave, you’ll go away knowing you’ve made a real impact on the lives of children all around the world, from Myanmar to Mozambique.

You’ll enjoy flexible working conditions that promote a work/life balance, salary packaging to optimise your income, and – most importantly – a fun and supportive environment. We have opportunities in a range of field. Join us.

We also have opportunities to volunteer or join our consultants register.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

Our volunteers make a world of difference and are central to the work we do. Some volunteer roles may require specific skills, but generally all we need is your passion and a desire to make a difference.

When available, volunteering opportunities take place at our office in Southbank, Melbourne.

There are currently no volunteering roles.

Volunteering FAQs

We don’t offer overseas volunteering opportunities – we prefer to recruit local volunteers from within the country to develop and sustain local skills and experience. All of our volunteer roles are in our office in Southbank, Melbourne.
Some volunteer roles may require specific skills, but most only require enthusiasm and a positive attitude! We support all office volunteers with on-the-job training.
Anyone! However you must be eligible to work in Australia according to the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs guidelines. If you’re from overseas you need a Visa that allows you to volunteer – find out more at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. All our volunteers must complete a Police Reference Check and sign our Child Protection Policy and Working with Children Code of Conduct.
Volunteers generally contribute one to two days per week, but we can accommodate whatever time you can give; short-term commitments and annual corporate volunteering days are OK too. Volunteers work with us during business hours (8.30am–5.00pm, Monday to Friday), but sometimes work after hours or on weekends when helping with events.
