As a global education company sourcing the majority of its business internationally, Study Group recognises the disparity in educational provision across the world and seeks to make a difference through its charity, Building Futures. In the wake of the 2005 Tsunami in Asia, Study Group was inspired to create Building Futures as a means to support communities in under privileged countries and those affected by natural disasters. Study Group believes that funding school building in these communities will contribute to the preservation of the social structure for future generations. Through our partnership with Plan, we provide assistance through the building of schools (from conception to completion), and the provision of educational materials and resources (including scholarships, volunteer teachers, books and computers).
We have Committees in Australia, the UK and USA committed to raising funds for Building Futures and have five completed projects in Indonesia, Benin, Brazil and China, and Vietnam with a new project to be announced in 2011. Our staff’s commitment has been strengthened by the knowledge that they are making a difference, and that every dollar they raise is matched by Study Group, dollar for dollar.
