Peregrine and Gecko's Adventures link with Plan communities around the world
Many of Plan’s corporate partnerships are built on the basis of common ground. As a travel leader specialising in tailored journeys around the world, Peregrine's support of Plan is an expression of their commitment to responsible tourism and support for the communities they operate in.
Peregrine approached Plan with a view to expanding their commitment to responsible tourism and corporate responsibility. Peregrine operate in many of the countries throughout Asia, Africa and South & Central America where Plan works including India, China, Tanzania, Kenya and Peru.
Peregrine and Plan share a commitment to work in over a dozen countries and thus it was difficult for Peregrine to nominate any one program for their support. Thus Peregrine support a number of Plan's priority projects including reducing community vulnerability to HIV/AIDS in Africa, water and sanitaiton in East Timor and early childhood education and development in China.
For over 28 years Peregrine have been fulfilling clients dreams, by helping them to explore and discover the world. Yet in our travels we have met many people living in poverty, unable to realise their dreams. By partnering with Plan, Peregrine seeks to help children in many of the countries we operate in to break the poverty cycle and realise their potential. Education is the key to achieving this.

In addition to funding to support education projects in Plan
communities around the world, Peregrine are committed to raising
awareness of Plan both to prospective travellers via their website,
newsletter and brochures but also to travellers as they meet with
local people on their trips. All travellers embarking on a
trip are invited to consider sponsoring a child with Plan in the
region and staff sponsor children as well.
Special rebate for Plan sponsors
You can be a part of it to. Peregrine will donate a 5% rebate to Plan for every child sponsor who books a trip with them. This means that you can grow your support of Plan simply via your purchasing decision.
