Terms & Conditions for Business Child Sponsorship

As a child centred community development organisation Plan seeks the support of companies who are aware of and respect the rights of children.  We ask that you also consider your supply chains and general community and environmental impact.  We, like our partners, seek to be part of an ethically responsible and environmentally considerate global community. 

If there is any activity, past or present, that could negatively impact on Plan’s reputation or position as a child centred community development organisation please send us a message or call 13PLAN (137526) to discuss.

Child Protection

At no time can the child's full name or village be revealed on any public communication including websites, intranet or other firm wide memoranda, regardless of whether such communications are restricted to those within your business or not. Basic details must be limited to first name, age and country only.  For reasons of child protection it is imperative that the full details of the child’s name and village location be retained only by the child’s sponsor directly.

Publication or promotion of your sponsored child's personal details could place your sponsored child at risk of potential harm, abuse or exploitation.  Please refer to Plan's Child Protection Guidelines for more information and our policy on displaying photographs and details of your sponsored child.   

By ticking Plan's terms and conditions during the sign-up process, the company agrees that it has a sound reputation which meets Plans requirements and is bound by Plan’s child protection guidelines.  The company also acknowledges that Plan reserves the right to terminate the Child Sponsorship at any time should Plan become aware that these terms and conditions have been breached.
