Financial Accountability

Plan operates on a public and government funding platform. The majority of our funds are sourced from child sponsorship and public donations, as well as grants offered by the Australian Government's overseas aid program, AusAid. We endeavour to achieve the maximum efficiency of these funds, directing them to overseas projects while minimising our overhead costs.

Who we report to


Each year we are audited by the international audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, ensuring accuracy and consistency in our financial reporting.

Plan International Australia is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and is a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct. The Code requires members to meet high standards of corporate governance, public accountability and financial management.
