Annual Effectiveness Review

As a non-profit organisation, Plan seeks to honour its position of trust through a high level of accountability to our donors and to the communities with whom we work.

Our highest priority is to achieve a positive impact for children. As part of this, we are committed to continuous improvement through reviews and evaluations of our work to examine what is successful and what could be improved. The results of these evaluations are published each year in our Annual Effectiveness Review.

The current review (2010) covers the period from July 2009 to December 2010. It describes developments in Plan International Australia’s approach, as well as our progress, achievements and learnings across all our programming areas. It also describes our approach and progress in the areas of Policy Engagement, Community Engagement and Innovation and Learning. Furthermore, it details our financial and programmatic relationships with other Plan offices around the world and describes our contribution to progress against the objectives of the global organisation.
