Plan Peru promotes improved health practices, including sexual and reproductive health awareness for adolescents. Plan works to improve access to healthcare services, medical treatment and good nutrition to reduce the incidence of disease.
With limited access to early childhood development, educational and vocational training services, Plan Peru works to improve access for all age groups, including an aim to achieve basic communications and mathematical competencies for children between six and twelve years of age.
Plan Peru works to improve children’s family economic situation and food security, and encourage greater community participation.
Plan Peru advocates the rights of children and works to build the capacity of families and the government to fulfill their obligations to protect and provide for children and adolescents. Plan also encourages involvement from children and adolescents in decision making processes.
