In Indonesia, early childhood education is not perceived as necessary for a child's development. Research shows that children who have attended kindergartens tend to be braver and demonstrate more independent thinking than their classmates. Unfortunately, for Indonesian children, opportunities to enjoy pre-school learning are rare.
