About Our Work
Plan works with children in 66 countries to address the causes of poverty and the consequences for children's lives.
As one of 17 national offices, our primary role here in Australia is to raise funds for Plan's child centred community development programs across 49 developing countries. We also raise funds for emergency appeals when disaster impacts on Plan's long-term programs.
We also work to increase the impact of our global programs through participation in advocacy campaigns, research and policy development, and community education initiatives, which together, increase public awareness and action on issues of poverty and the advancement of children's rights.
