This handbook has been developed by Dr Kamal Kar from his experience with the CLTS approach since 1999 in countries including Bangladesh, India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, China, Pakistan in Asia; in Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya and Sierra Leone in Africa; and in Bolivia in South America plus many other countries.
The research was supported by Prof. Robert Chambers of the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex in the UK.
