There are over 2 billion people under the age of 18 in the world
today. That's one third of the world's population. Despite
this large number, children often don't have an opportunity to
discuss issues that are important to them.
Plan gives children an opportunity to speak out about what matters
most to them using various mediums including television, radio,
film and the internet. Our innovative programs raise awareness of
children's rights and empower children to drive change in their
community. As Aisha from Senegal says: 'I want to be a part of
those who change Africa'.
