On World AIDS Day, Plan Goodwill Ambassador and celebrity landscape designer Jamie Durie will launch the Plan Christmas Goodwill Appeal to raise funds for African communities affected by HIV/AIDS.
To kick start the appeal, World AIDS Day fundraising breakfasts will be held in Melbourne and Adelaide on Thursday, 1 December.
Jamie Durie, the special guest at the Melbourne breakfast, will recount his experiences of his recent visit to Uganda where he was involved in filming a Plan documentary on how communities affected by HIV/AIDS are living positively.
The event promises to be thought provoking and lively with African music and fabulous prizes including Australian Open tickets and a night for two at the Grand Hyatt. Plus designer items will also be auctioned.
The Melbourne breakfast is at the RACV Club ballroom from 7:30am to 9:30am. Tickets are $90.
