Classic Jaguar Touring events are based on a format developed by Ricardo and Encarnita Galvani over the last twenty years. In recent years, the CJT tours have taken XK and E-type Jaguars from the 1950's and 60's to Patagonia, Andalusia, North Eastern Spain and in 2012, the tour will be coming to Australia.
This non-competitive four week tour will take the Jaguar enthusiast from Sydney to Canberra, to Lakes Entrance arriving in Melbourne on Friday 17th February.
From there, the twenty classic cars will cross over to Tasmania where they will spend ten days touring the island. The return trip to the mainland will take the cars down the Great Ocean Road to Warrnambool, the Grampians, Renmark, through the Baroosa Valley culminating in a long weekend in Adelaide at the beginning of March.
The outline itinerary is on the Classic Jaguar website, with slight changes to be communicated closer to the date.
While the tourers are enjoying themselves, they will also be raising money in support of Plan's development projects. Plan's projects work to improve health, education, economic security, sanitation and child rights in Africa and Asia. A Gala Dinner and charity auction will be held in Adelaide on the last evening.
