Direct Debit Request Service Agreement

I/we request Plan International Australia (hereafter referred to as Plan user ID 6950) to arrange for funds to be debited from my/our account at the financial institution identified by me and as prescribed through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System.

This authorisation is to remain in force in accordance with the terms described in the following Direct Debit Request Service Agreement:

1. Direct Debiting is not available on the full range of accounts.  If in doubt, please refer to your financial institution.

2. You are advised to check your account details by contacting your financial institution.

3. It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient clear funds are in the nominated account when payments are to be drawn.  Should your drawing be returned unpaid from your financial institution, Plan will attempt to redraw within 1 month.  At this time, all monies owed will be drawn.

4. Should you wish to defer or make alteration to your direct debit arrangement please notify Plan in writing 7 days prior to your next drawing date.

5. You authorise, unless you advise otherwise, reasonable increases in the minimum amount to cover future rises in costs.  We will give you 14 days notice if we vary any of the debit arrangements.

6. Should you have any queries or dispute any Debit item, please contact Plan in the first instance.

7. Your records and account details will be kept private and confidential to be disclosed only if requested by yourself or the financial institution in a claim for an alleged incorrect or wrongful debit.

8. Should you wish to cancel this arrangement in full, written notification is required to be received at Plan 7 days prior to your next drawing date.
