We require a number of casual administration volunteers to assist in our Supporter Service team.
These volunteer roles are vital to the efficient running of our operations and entail a variety of tasks including:
Ideally we would like a commitment of one to two days per week (we are flexible on days and hours that suit you) for at least 6 months to help us plan ahead and ensure the smooth running of our operations.
You will join a team of committed volunteers and professionals based in our National Office in Melbourne which is close to Flagstaff train station. Our office environment is professional, culturally diverse and social, and dress is smart-casual. We have a terrific kitchen and a large range of cafe's of various cuisines nearby.
Ideally you will have experience in an office environment. Some roles require that you be familiar with the Microsoft suite of programs (eg. Excel, Word) and be able to learn how to use Plan’s database (reasonable computer skills necessary). However, other collation and filing roles do not require computer skills. Full training and coaching will be provided.
This can be a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence and experience for your CV or for a tertiary student to gain an insight into the operations of an NGO.
Please send an email marked to ATTN: Warren Davies.
All volunteers are required to undergo a national police check due to our work overseas with children. Please familiarise yourself with our Child Protection Policy.
