Make a Bequest

Bequests left to Plan enables us to continue to help children reach their full potential. They ensure ongoing financial support of our programs and help us to transform the world for children by promoting child rights and building capacity to ensure children, their families and communities are active and leading participants in overcoming poverty.

Your Lasting Gift ...

As well as having a direct impact on children and their communities, your gift will have a lasting effect on future generations as valuable skills and knowledge are passed down.

Your bequest will benefit children and communities through initiatives such as:

  • Improving access to health services in Cambodian communities by linking targeted families to pre and post natal care; growth monitoring and immunisation; and hygiene, health and nutrition education.
  • Assisting people with HIV/AIDS in Kenya to develop agricultural-based projects, helping to improve their health and the nutrition of their children.
  • Providing young people in Timor-Leste with business planning, mentoring, training and technical advice so they can develop cooperative-run small businesses.

Types of Bequests

There are three ways you can leave a bequest to Plan:

  1. General Bequest to Plan
  2. Bequest to Plan Projects
  3. Bequest left for continuing an existing child sponsorship

You may choose the amount you leave to Plan by nominating:

  1. the balance or residue of your estate once all your personal commitments have been met
  2. a percentage of your estate
  3. a specific sum.

Testimonial

Wendy McCarthy AO

Leaving a bequest to Plan is a wonderful way of continuing your commitment to children. It is a life affirming gesture and one I have made myself. I urge you to do the same.
