Make Poverty History - third White Band Day of action
December 10 is the third and final white band day of action for 2005.
This White Band day aims to influence the World Trade Organisation (WTO) ministerial conference in Hong Kong from 13 to 18 December, the third of three important international meetings held in 2005 and where global poverty heads the agenda. The WTO is the main international body that decides the rules that govern international trade.
While 10 December is the last Make Poverty History action day of the campaign for 2005, the international effort to reach the Millennium Development Goals by 2015 will continue unabated.
