Photos: Goodwill Youth Reporters Program Launch

Commowealth Games Minister, Justin Madden launched Plan's Commonwealth Games Youth Reporters Program, Hear My Voice at ACMI in Federation Square in Melbourne on March 10.

Under the program, nine talented teens from Ghana, India and Pakistan will be Plan’s roving reporters during the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. They will provide a unique insight into Games sporting and cultural events.

The reporters meet their Australian buddies - youth groups paired up with them under the Adopt-a-second team scheme. All groups in Australia and overseas produced media submissions to exchange and broadcast during the Games at Plan's Interact Showcase. India's reporters were paired up with City of Melbourne youth under the Adopt-a-second team scheme. Pakistan youth reporters with their Victorian buddies from Monash City Council - the groups were paired up under the Adopt-a-second team scheme
