
The Make Poverty History Concert is being hosted by Australia's Make Poverty History coalition and is expected to draw crowds of more than 20,000. The aim of the concert is to engage, educate and inspire young Australians about the international Make Poverty History campaign.
The event has received the generous support of several leading Australian organisations. The principal sponsor of the concert is Optus and major sponsors include the Herald Sun, mX, Nova 100, MySpace and Network 10.

Why Are We Doing This?
