Plan and Melbourne Marketing Luncheons are proud to present TRIPOD with MATT TILLEY as MC.
In 2006, Plan is the nominated charity partner of the Melbourne Marketing Luncheons, one of Melbourne’s most successful business luncheon forums. The Luncheons are known for their five-star presentation and networking opportunities.
As charity partner, Plan will be fundraising for the Christmas Appeal: Reducing Community Vulnerability to HIV/AIDS in Africa.
MC for the day is Melbourne radio star and Plan child sponsor, Matt Tilley. One of the most talented and successful radio personalities in Melbourne, Matt has worked with FOX FM for the past 16 years! His infamous Gotcha Calls were released on CD and stayed in top spot on the charts for several weeks. Now a second double CD has been released.
Guests will be entertained by one of Australia's most popular and distinctive comedy acts! Tripod is Scod (the geeky one with the guitar and glasses), Gatesy (sings quite well and plays the guitar) and Yon (the shorter, weirder one who wants to play the guitar but will settle for the trumpet). Not that they need introducing.
In 2005, Tripod toured from coast to coast, won an ARIA award for the best comedy release and hosted Ten Network's 'Seriously Funny Melbourne Comedy Festival Special'.
This year, they performed for their 10th season at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, released their DVD Pod August Night and received rave reviews at the New Zealand Comedy Festival.
